INTRODUCTION TO THE CHAKRAS.
Prana is the primordial energy coming from beyond the physical universe (Please check link at the bottom). This prana gets into each chakra to vitalize it. Then the chakra sends the energy into the endocrine glands promoting health.
The seven main chakras are on the spinal; they are connected to the nervous system and to the endocrine glands.
Why are the chakras so important?
When we work on mantras for the chakras we are sending the vibration of the sound to a specific chakra and the outcome is simple: That chakra spins sending its accumulated energy to those endocrine glands.
Each chakra has its own vibration and therefore we cannot use a mantra for the heart, for example, to work with the chakra of the head. Each mantra has a specific vibration that puts to vibrate a specific chakra.
The basic sounds are these:
I for the head => Sahasrara Chakra and Ajna chakra.
E for the larynx => The Vishudha Chakra.
O for the heart => The Ahna Chakra.
U for the Solar Plexus => The Manipura Chakra.
M for the Reproductive organs => The Swadhistana Chakra.
S for the root chakra => The Muladhara Chakra.
We can add another one: It is A for a chakra we have in our lungs.
From these sounds all the other mantras come. Of course, there are some exceptions.
Working on these chakras we can improve our health or at least to feel better. Nobody should avoid going to the doctor. Mantras, healing meditation, Kundalini Yoga and any other exercise are good to prevent sickness; but if anyone is sick then that person most be checked by his/her doctor. This is true for all practitioners, but even more for beginners, who do not have experience or enough time on understanding yoga.
CHAKRAS AS INNER SENSES.
Did you ever wonder how is it possible to see when you are dreaming? How can that be if your eyes are closed? Actually you can hear too. Why do some people dream of things that happen later? How is it possible to have lucid dreams? The third eye, the Ajna chakra, is the sense we use to see in the world of dreams. Our chakras are up there our senses.
The world of dreams is called the Astral World. That is the region where we go when sleeping. We go there every time we sleep, even if it was just a short nap. The physical body does not go there, but the Astral Body.
This Astral Body, the body of the soul, uses the chakras as senses to perceive the Astral World. We see through the Third Eye. We are not seeing the physical world, when sleeping; but the Astral World. It is a copy of the physical world and that is the reason why we see the same most of the times; but not always.
Some people believe they do not have dreams. Nevertheless, that is not possible. We always have dreams; but sometimes we do not remember our dreams. Especially if we never paid attention to dreams. Remember: When we do not use an organ then that organ is atrophied.
Some people have very vivid dreams and the reason is simple they were, in the Astral World, at that place with those people, etc.
We need to develop the chakras so they can help us not just in the astral world; but in the physical world as well.
It is not possible to see what is beyond the physical body with the physical senses. They are limited to this region. We need other senses to perceive what I beyond, those senses are the chakras.
Sometimes, for example, we fly when dreaming. In other occasions we dream that we talked with someone without using words (Telepathy). Sometimes, as I said before, we dream of something that happens a month or a year later (Premonition). Nevertheless, things like that happen sometimes in the physical body. For example, you think of a friend who you do not see for a long time and then, suddenly, he calls you to the phone. Yes, that is telepathy.
This matter of the world of dreams was very important for ancient cultures. There are several examples about that. You can read Daniel in the Bible. Remember: Maya, the queen, had a dream of an white elephant coming to be her baby. That became true. It was Sidharta Gautama, Buddha.
POWERS FROM THE CHAKRAS!
These are the capabilities given by the chakras:
1- Sahasrara Chakra: The Crown chakra, the perception of the multi-dimensions.
2- Ajan Chakra: The third eye, the perception of what is beyond the physical body.
3- Vishuddha Chakra: The Larynx Chakra, the capability of hearing beyond the physical world.
4- Anahata Chakra: The Heart Chakra, intuition.
5- Manipura Chakra: The solar Plexus Chakra, Telepathy.
6- Swadhistana Chakra: The Sacred Chakra, the power over human passions.
7- Muladhara Chakra: The root chakra, Self control and firmness.
All that might seem like science fiction, but real science is going so far that talking about other dimensions is not crazy any longer. On the other hand, great Masters like Buddha, for example, were really wise and they showed some of those capabilities. What could be impossible for Atman? He is the Inner Father or the Inner God.
HOW TO VITALIZE THE CHAKRAS:
We have seven chakras and there are seven endocrine glands. These glands receive energy from the cosmos via the chakras; in other words, the energy received by the chakras is given to those glands, so they can give health to our physical and subtle bodies.
If we work on the chakras then we work on the endocrine glands and the outcome is health. Why? Because the endocrine gland will create more hormones and vitalize the immune system, the nervous system, the circulatory system, etc.
Then it is really important to work on the chakras. There are several techniques to do so:
- Kundalini Yoga.
- Relaxing and meditation.
Please, do not ever think to avoid your doctor because you work on chakras. We all need to visit the doctor and have our regular checks. Working with mantras and chakras is to prevent, but never to cure. This is important to understand because some people out of fanaticism want to avoid the doctors.
It is important to have someone who really knows how mantras and chakras work.
