THE BEAUTY OF LIFE!
Relaxing the mind is not just to relax and feel better. It is the perception of something new within yourself! As on gas the mind controls you then you are not able to experiment that. This is why meditation is needed, but meditation is a lot more than just relaxing.
We can enjoy life is a much better way if we learn to meditate properly. Life is great, but people cannot experiment that because they are trapped into mental problems of all kind. They are always worry, they are always busy, they mind has not an empty spot!
One day it was a monk talking a lot to his Master. The latter pour some tea on a cup. When the cup was full the Master kept going. The monk told his Master: “Can you see that the cup is already full and you cannot put more on it? Then the Master reply: “That is what happen when the mind is full, you cannot put more in it!”
Meditation is the science to empty the mind for a while to perceive beyond concepts, ideas, preconceptions, prejudices, etc. The more you worry the less you can enjoy your life. The solution of any problem is within you, but that mental traffics does not let it to come out. Relax and it will come out!
The best way to enjoy your life is to have moments of relaxation of your own mind. Relax, breath deep and enjoy a tea or the view in the park…
TO THINK OR NOT TO THINK?
How could anyone learn anything without thinking? It would be not possible. Nevertheless, when the mind is focus on any problem then the mind itself become a problem. Why? Because it makes us to think too much.
We need thinking to learn and to achieve many things, but we do not need to keep thinking of the problems. When you have problems then your need to relax, you need to do exercises to reduce stress and or anxiety. Thinking will rise the levels of stress and anxiety and illness will become the outcome!
THE INFANT MIND.
The great Master said something like this: Let the kids come to me because the kingdom of heaven belongs to them! That kingdom is not the exterior world, but the interior world. Happiness is within and not outside.
The older a person is the more complicated mind he/she has. More age and more worries. Age does not help us to have a better mind, but a more complicated mind. The more data you have in your mind the more complicated it is. No, the solution is not avoiding data. The solution is not avoiding learning. The solution is to learn to meditate to calm the mind.
A calmed mind can think better. Sometimes the solution is just I front of us, but the busy mind cannot see it. This is similar when someone has a panic attack. For example, a person might be close to a door to exit a building which catches fire; but the panic blinds that person and he/she is not able to see the door; instead of getting closer to the door neighbor/she runs far from the door and death could be the price.
Learning to meditate trains your mind to be calmed even under stressful situations. This is marvelous because the solution to problems comes when the mind is in peace.
The path through deep meditation is a long path. Each practice is one step toward the objective of doing meditation in the right way. Meditation requires mental control. Meditation is not seating down to think. Actually meditation is the state of mental control, in other words, meditation starts she a person has mental control. If the mind goes from one thought to other and you follow each thought then you cannot meditate. Thoughts will come, the task is simple: Do not follow any thought.
The first thing to be experimented is that the mind cannot be controlled just because you want, but because you practice everyday to master meditation one day. Real meditation takes you to ENLIGHTENMENT. That is the inner wisdom beyond thoughts.
Beginners should practice meditation. For how long? Twenty to thirty minutes daily. Later the practice can be longer to fourth five minutes, then to one hour and, if possible, even longer. Yes, I know time is a big problem in modern life. Well, it depends on priorities. You get what you want. It means, you get what you fight for.
EASY AND SIMPLE MEDITATIONS.
In the morning you can do a simple practice:
* Seat down with your spinal straight and close your eyes.
* Relax yourself breathing slowly and deep for five to ten minutes. Do not ever inhale with your mouth. Use your nose all the time.
* Focus on your heart (The center of love).
* Do the Mantram OM for ten to fifteen minutes.
* Keep your focus on your heart and, at the same time, picture the whole planet.
* Imagine all human beings and try to see how many of them are suffering (Some are really sick, other do not have arms or legs, some have not a job, others are deaf or blind, etc)
* Try to see how lucky you are because you are in better conditions than others.
* Appreciate everything you have, even when your life is not perfect.
This is a good practice to develop gratitude and appreciation. Both leads you to develop love and compassion. We need a different world, but we cannot expect other to build it. We have to be the builders of a new civilization based on live and compassion.
EASY AND SIMPLE MEDITATIONS 2
* Spinal straight and eyes closed.
* Breath slowly, long and deep to relax your body (Ten to fifteen mins)
* Picture yourself going up to the top of a mountain. Imagine the road, to the top, full of beautiful flowers and singing birds (five mins)
* Now you are on the top. Picture the whole area and see other mountains and alright day with a shining sun (Five to ten mins)
* Tell yourself, while watching around from the top: Yes, I can do it and I can do more!
Meditation is great because it helps you to change the way you think and you feel. It might take time, but it is worthy. We do not need to keep suffering, but we need to change ourselves to enjoy the life we have.
These are easy and simple meditations than anyone can do. The brain act according to our thoughts and we need to go to those thoughts to make or brain or mind to work properly.
The mind is beautiful if we use it properly, but it might cause many problems if we do not control it. We are not the body, we are not the mind, but a special energy that vibrates and is beyond our expectations.
Yes, we can learn more advance practices if we learn to control the mind. I think these easy and simple meditations can train you to develop some control and be prepared for more advance meditations.
Meditation combined with pranayamas make the practice more powerful and more relaxing!
RELAXATION: THE KEY TO ENJOY LIFE.
Yes, meditation is really deep, but a simple relaxation, that any beginner can do, is just wonderful. So instead of complaining that you cannot meditate then practice relaxation and learn it to do it deeper and deeper.
It is important to relax the body, but relaxation goes farther. Real relaxation is the relaxation of the mind. The more the mind relaxed the more peace a person can feel. This is a special peace that you cannot find in the world.
Relaxing your body reduce stress, which is really important and healthy. There are many benefits about getting rid of stress. Relaxing the mind is even more important.
A mind under stress can make many mistakes that sooner or later might have terrible consequences I our life. This is one of the reasons to learn to relax the mind. A relaxed mind can think a lot better, with more clarity and sharpness.
Relaxing both, the body and the mind, is not hard. It depends on how distracted a person is. The more distracted his/her mind is the more difficult relaxing can be. Many students come to ask me how to relax the mind and the answer is always the same: Practice, practice and practice. It is funny but, many people want to relax the mind without practicing.
Learning to relax either the body or the mind is a matter of practicing everyday. Those who practice once or twice a week are just playing. They are not serious about relaxing and they are so far from meditation.
Relaxing really works and it makes you feel much better and with a beautiful inner peace. Sometimes you can relate for a few minutes, maybe in front of a lake or by the beach. Sometimes just a few minutes refresh your mind. Nevertheless deep relaxation, which I s a lot better come after practicing daily for a few month.
How can anybody enjoy life with a lot of worries in the mind. No, that is not possible. The mental Traffic cannot let anyone to enjoy life. We need to think, right? Of course, but we need to relax the mind to let it recharge and do a better job.
