THE HEART CHAKRA: THE TEMPLE OF LOVE.
A person who practices yoga needs to develop this chakra. It destroys selfishness because love is the happiness of others. Selfishness creates many problems in life and in the world. Love is the unique religion and the heart is its temple.
We do not need new religions, but we need to understand the real message from the old ones. What we believe is not the matter, but what we have in our heart. Therefore we need to study this chakra to understand how great it is.
THE MIND AND THE HEART.
So, who controls the mind? If that is not you then… who? Who is thinking about the problem if you do not want to think of it? Who was singing the song if you did not want to sing it. It was the mind. You are neither your body nor your mind.
What are you? Who are you? Did you ever think of that? If you do not know the answer to those questions them… How can you know what you want? What is life for? The soul, which is beyond the body and the mind, is you: YOU ARE A SOUL! Please read my article: Mind, soul and energy (Link at the bottom).
The heart is a bridge between the mind and the soul. Whoever wants to go beyond the mind must develop the heart. You cannot go to Manhattan without a bridge or tunnel because it is an island. The same happens to the mind; it cannot experience the soul without a heart!
YOGA, LIFE AND LOVE.
It is not easy to find someone willing to practice Karma Yoga and become a devotee of love (Bhakti Yoga). The matter is not what we believe and it is not what we say. The matter is what we do. All religions speak about love, but the question is this: Where is that love which religions talk about? No, I am not against any religion. I just point out the fact that it is easy to talk, but hard to do.
A real yoga becomes a karma Yoga practitioner and as such he is willing to help other beings. A Bhakti yoga practitioner knows that the divinity is within every creature of the planet and therefore he/she respects life. How can a real yogi cause harm to a living being when he/she knows that a divine principle is within all beings?
Spirituality and religion are not the same. A person might go to a temple or church, but it does not mean he loves other beings; it does not mean that he is better than a non-believer. On the contrary, a person might not go to any church and even like that he/she enjoys helping others.
The fact is simple: Show love through your actions beyond any religion. Respect all religions because they teach to love others, even to the enemies. If people do not do that then, what is the difference between believers and non-believers?
The mind loves believing, theorizing and reasoning; but the mind does not act according to all that. Nevertheless, when someone loves something then he/she acts according to what they love. Love moves you to help others. The mind look for an excuse: I am busy, I am in a harry, not now, etc.
Love makes people to change. Love makes people to help. Love makes people to stop selfishness because love is taking care of others. Love is the key to a better life. Love is the solution to most of the problems we have.
A world based on love and compassion is a paradise that is so far from the world we know. All the great Masters taught to love and to forgive. The task is not to believe that; but to learn to do so. This is why a worldwide change is not possible yet. It will be possible when we all learn the importance of love and compassion. We have to resign to live in this world full of violence, hatred, racism, wars, etc. The only chance we have for now is to spread a message of love and compassion to others.
Remember: The divinity is within all beings!
LOVE VS BELIEFS!
We have to make a huge revolution worldwide to build a better world. The first step is to spread all these ideas of love and compassion. Yes, you have to believe on them; but believing is not enough. Spread the ideas and practice them. People need to know that others are doing so and fighting for a better world.
Love is the power that moves the whole universe. Love is the answer to most of the problems. Love has to be the goal of our life. Smile because others need you to see your smile. Do not fake it; that is not the idea. The idea is to feel appreciation and gratitude for life. Those are the first steps toward happiness.
Enjoy life, enjoy nature, enjoy walking, enjoy a moment, enjoy the air, enjoy your food, enjoy your yoga, etc. A smile comes easy when you enjoy life. Do not fake it. Smile it because you have a great opportunity day by dat. Yes, a great opportunity to share something or to learn from others.
Beliefs are good only if they push you into action. Believing in love is great if you try to feel it, if you try to spread it. Please, do not become a passive believer try to do things. Let others see people in action.
Karma Yoga is a great way to spread love. Try to become a volunteer or make donations. There are many people who need help. Love is action.
The mind think the heart feels. A Master feels love and he feels the need to help. Masters come to the world to help other beings. They resign their own life in order to help other souls. No, you do not need to resign your life; you are not a Master.
We all are just yogis willing to help and spread the great ideas from the ancient sages such as Buddha, Krishna, The Christ, etc.
If you really believe in love then show it through your actions. Love without actions is not love. A person who feels love cannot see suffering because at that very moment he/she will jump to help in some way or another way.
Love is beyond words and words cannot depict love. Love is the great power that built this universe. Love is the most amazing force of this Creation!
Beliefs are made by humans; but love comes from the bottom of the heart. Beliefs are ideas from the mind. How can you know if they are right or not? Loving others is the real religion and the heart is the temple. That was, that is and that will be the main idea of any Master from any place of the whole world.
Do not fight for beliefs, just try to spread love. Beliefs cause wars and we had too many already. Love goes beyond beliefs and religions. We all are brothers and sisters beyond beliefs, age, country, language, skin color or status. We all are one!
Atman is within all beings. So when you help others you are helping the inner god of them. If you fight against others then you are fighting against their Atman. Atman is the root of pure love. He is within you and within all beings. Spread love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, comprehension, tolerance, humbleness, wisdom, etc.
We all have to respect all beliefs; but respect cannot exist without love. Love is the source of all virtues and powers.
THE POWER OF LOVE!
Love is unconditional freedom beyond any human condition or limitation. Selfish desire is the opposite to love. That desire is the strongest poison of the universe and it makes people blind for the spiritual path.
Love is the light and the fire which started this creation. This is why all ancient civilizations used the sun as the symbol of love: Light and fire! Moreover, the sun burns itself day by day to give us life. Love is like that, the one who really loves give anything in order to make happy the person who he/she loves.
Love is a perpetual resigning to our happiness to bring happiness to others. Love is bearing suffering if that is necessary for the well-being of others. Love makes out heart strong to fulfill any task that requires our biggest effort!
A mother, for example, is able to do whatever it takes for the well-being of her children.
Love, love, love is the most amazing feeling; but it always want the happiness of the other person even at the expense of our own happiness.
Love is a blessing and it is not human, but divine! The best way to express love is doing things for others. When love goes inward to Atman it is Bhakti Yoga and when love goes outside toward all living beings than it is Karma Yoga.
Now, we can understand why a real yogi practices both: Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga. Asanas are great, but they will never make you to develop love. We have to practice those two great yogas in order to develop real love within us.
Here it is important to point out that developing the Kundalini requires love and therefore Kundalini Yoga needs Bhakti and Karma yoga. These three yogas are related, but this goes farther because to fulfill these yogas properly then a special knowledge is required: Jana Yoga!
Now, if you are following this description, you can see that those four yogas work as one and the yoga that unifies then is Asthanga Yoga.
At this point is easy to understand why Asthanga Yoga is the original yoga. A real yogi practice Asthanga Yoga and therefore he/she practice all the yogas.
Love is the force that unifies everything. It is able to unify enemies and opposite forces. A real yogi learns to love all beings and it includes his/her enemies. The best a yogi can do, for his/her enemies, is to forgive them because they act according to their ignorance and out of hatred. A real yogi feels compassion for such persons.
Life without love is not life. Living to hate, living to feel resentment, living to look for revenge, living to express violence is not life that is death.
Living with love and compassion is the greatest gift we can give to all beings. We all area one regardless our beliefs, country, language, skin color, age, the economic situation, etc.
Krishnamurti, a great Master, explained that we must do whatever is fair and all what is good regardless what the ignorant say.
Our task in life is to express the most amazing power of the whole universe: THE POWER OF LOVE! Otherwise, our life will be a waste.
Remember: LOVE GOES BEYOND WORDS BECAUSE LOVE IS ACTION. SO DEVELOP LOVE AND SPREAD IT EVERYWHERE!
