SUFFERING AFFECTS YOUR HEALTH!
There are many reasons to suffer and some are physical, an wound for example, and others are emotional, a broken heart to say something. We can take pills for physical pain, but we need something different for emotional pains and traumas.
So, it is very convenient to know about this…
WHAT IS THE ROOT OF SUFFERING?
Some of the reasons of suffering are:
* Physical wounds and sickness.
* Problems and worries.
* Lack of love.
* Loneliness and incomprehension.
THE INVISIBLE WOUNDS!
Visible wounds are fine after a time. They might leave a scar, but the pain goes away one day. The invisible wounds may not be sane in the whole life. They do not leave any scar, but the pain does not leave the soul. No pills are good in these cases.
Some people killed themselves because they were not understood or because they did not understood life. Millions around the world are suffering and many of them fake a smile just to try to deceive their relatives, but deep down they are suffering.
The invisible wounds are horrible and so hard to cure. Sometimes a few nice words can help those people under that kind of suffering. They really need love and appreciation.
Sometimes their mistakes follow them for ever. Nobody is there to help them and nobody try to understand them. They rally suffer, but not doctor is enough sometimes.
If we were humans the whole world could be so different!
SUFFERING AND THE HUMAN MIND.
We need to train our mind so it can help us to live better. A trained mind can lead our life into happiness. But usually our mind do the opposite: It brings negative thoughts and later negative emotions, which can destroy relationships of any kind, our health, etc. . That is the price of a wild mind, a mind without control.
Ancient Masters taught that terrible truth to their disciples. Those Masters taught how to train their disciples to control the mind. BUDDHA said: “You are what you think.” A mind without a proper training will create a life with suffering and pain because its thoughts will come true sooner or later. A trained mind will build a beautiful inner world full of love, peace and happiness. Those three elements are inside, but the mind without training can only dream of them.
Do not let your mind to lead you to suffering. Train your mind through meditation. Everybody starts as a beginner, but we need to progress to become Masters of our mind.
It is a very natural tendency for the mind to get worry and to complicate all problems. That is the regular behavior of the non-trained mind. The wild mind think about everything all the time. Meditation is the key to control it. Yes, being positive helps a lot and we need to learn to be positive, but meditation goes beyond it when the practitioner knows how to do so.
LACK OF LOVE
Lack of love can become really stressful, it might create anxiety and it can even develop depression.
Parents, for example, should take care more of teens. They are specially vulnerable and they look for love and to be loved. They usually feel like parents do not care. They do not understand the worries of an adult and how those worries blind them to the point they forget about the love ones.
If teens do not find love in their home they will look for it outside. That could cost them a lot because they can be easy target of people with not good intentions.
People of all ages are willing to do many things, and some everything, to get love. The need of love could be really painful if mistakes are made. A broken heart could be the outcome and it might stay like that for ever.
Lack of love is a cause of deep suffering. Do not ever play with the heart of anyone.
LONELINESS AND INCOMPREHENSION.
Incomprehension makes people believe they will never find someone able to understand them. It is really frustrating and it triggers suffering. Feeling that people cannot understand them images them feel that they are alone and nobody really cares.
SUFFERING CAUSES MANY PROBLEMS AND IT FADES HEALTH
The main problem is that we are not just a body and a mind, but a being with emotions too. We all have the need of love, the need of someone, the need of being understood, etc.
The physical wounds are fine through time, even when it takes a long time. But some moral pain might last for the rest of the life. Some people really need a professional adviser or a psychologist to really overcome those kind of suffering.
A life full of suffering can send you to the hospital or even to your grave sooner than you think. A life like that makes a person to live under depression or anxiety or, at least, under stress.
Nothing good might come from any of those three states. The only chance a person has to overcome suffering is to fight it. We need alternatives to overcome suffering.

Yoga teaches us many great ideas to understand that we are not just a boy and a mind, but a soul. There is something special within each human body. We tend to forget that because we are too involved into our problems. Yoga teaches us to live in the present moment. Many worries come from the past and others form expectations and anxiety (The future). The key is to focus on the present moment.

I know it is not easy to move forward when you feel that you are stuck, but nobody can force you to do so. it is your own responsibility if you really want to feel better.
An ancient yoga idea says that pain is inevitable, but suffering is a choice. It means that some things really hurt, but it is up to us to keep complaining and remembering the reason of suffering, Nevertheless, we can learn to live in a different way if we change the way we think. If we want to be happy we have to learn to complain less and smile more.
Suffering can be changed if we do understand that we can do so. Smile and keep your hope alive. Buddha said: "All creatures are entitle to happiness." So, do not follow the wrong path and smile as often as you can. Being positive helps a lot. Developing gratitude for all you have is great and it makes you feel a lot better.
