STRESS IS A KILLER.
Stress will affect all the system of our body and eventually can cause death.
We should visit the doctor regularly; but we have to take action to prevent stress and any health problem. Let us try to explain how we can reduce stress working on this chakra.
THE ADRENAL OR SUPRARENAL GLANDS.
This chakra affects all the organs of this area, especially the adrenal glands. Wikipedia indicates:
“They are chiefly responsible for releasing hormones in response to stress through the synthesis of corticosteroids such as cortisol and catecholamines such as adrenaline (epinephrine) and noradrenaline. These endocrine glands also produce androgens in their innermost cortical layer.”
Now The Health Line explains this:
“These glands are critical in creating numerous hormones that are necessary for a healthy life.” And it adds: “Death would result if the adrenal cortex were to stop functioning as it controls metabolic processes that are essential to life.”

As we can see the Suprarenal glands fight stress releasing hormones. This is good for your health and actually it is a need. The problem is when we live under stress and these hormones are being released all the time.
We need to help these glands and it is possible to do so if we work on the Manipura Chakra.
THE INFERIOR OR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS.
These emotions hit our navel, especially the stomach and the kidneys (where the Suprarenal Glands are). This is the reason why sometimes people have diarrhea or stomach pains after a negative emotion. People who are always angry or showing negative emotions usually suffer from gastritis, sometimes gastritis ulcer and different health problems related to the organs of the navel.
These negative emotions eventually, not necessarily at the moment, damage the capacity of controlling the inferior emotions. The long run effect is stress, later anxiety and finally depression.
Remember: The adrenal glands release hormones such as cortisol when we are under stress; but if this gland does not do the job properly then it would release too much cortisol. Therefore, feeling negative emotions too often might trigger cortisol too often and the price will be high.
Preventing inferior emotions is a need for our health. Working on the Manipura Chakra is a need too. But the best result comes from a combination of both: Preventing inferior emotions (Controlling our emotions) and working with the chakra.
Preventing inferior emotions is avoiding movies or TV programs with too much violence or movies of terror. It also is avoiding people who lack control of their emotions. People full of negative emotions are dangerous for our health. It does not mean that you have to run away from them; but you should not visit them too often.
On the other hand, we need to promote and try to experiment positive emotions such as: forgiveness, gladness, a balance self-esteem, compassion, calmness, altruism,love, etc. These emotions promote health and they can help us to tune up our adrenal glands.

I will recommend, as usually, visiting your doctor. Modern medicine is powerful and really good, especially when we are really bad or we need a surgeon. Alternative medicine, this includes chakra therapy, is more to prevent. Nobody is better to advice you about your health than your own doctor.
