We all have the right to be happy, but it is not possible without a proper fitness. Yoga is great, but when we combine it with exercising then we get: INTEGRAL FITNESS!
Happiness has to be built and it is a combination of many factors: Integral Fitness is one key to happiness.
NUTRITION: BODY AND MIND!
Feeding the mind!
Everything that goes to your senses goes to your mind. The latter receives everything, but it does not mean it is good to bring everything to your mind. Will you get everything to your stomach? No, right? The mind needs a proper diet as your body does.
People get worry nowadays thinking on how to feed their bodies. Yes, it is correct. The body needs proper food. Nevertheless, people do not think about feeding properly their mind.
A MIND WITHOUT PROPER FOOD CANNOT WORK PROPERLY THE SAME AS THE BODY CANNOT WORK PROPERLY WITHOUT PROPER FOOD!
Our mind is very sensitive. It receives everything from the exterior and keeps it inside of us. Will you bring anything to your home? Nobody would! So, start checking what is coming into your mind. Take what is good and let go what is not.
Your mind needs good ideas, great thoughts and nice experiences. Everything that is not good for your mind is not good for you. The more violence you watch the more violent you might become.
Do not let your mind to think everything. Teach your mind to think positively; it really helps. Optimism is important; but you should avoid fantasy. Let your mind vibrate with the power of your inner confidence. Set your mind on your goal and be brave to fight for it.
Do not let people to discourage you. You are the one to know what you want. That is not their task; but yours. As long as you do not hurt anyone then it is fine to fight for what you really love.
Feed your mind with ideas of love, comprehension, forgiveness, peace, harmony, etc. Let the seeds of each of them to grow in the garden of your soul.
Feeding the body.
It is so important to eat properly. Not just for your body, but for your mind and soul. Let your body to perform to its 100%. It is not possible if you bring to the table junk food. Your body needs to avoid that.
Sugar! It is a crime to your brain and body. If you really want a healthy body and a brain then sugar has to go away from your diet. Get some veggies and fruits to replace your craving for sugar.
THE HARVARD SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH has a great article about SUGARY DRINKS. It says: “Sugary drinks are a major contributor to the obesity epidemic.” It also indicates this: “One meta-analysis of 88 studies showed that the effect appeared to be stronger in women.”
Plus it has this other statement: “Fluids don’t provide the same feeling of fullness or satisfaction as solid foods, as the body doesn’t “register” liquid calories as it does calories from solid food. This may prompt a person to keep eating even after an intake of a high-calorie drink.”

Nutrition is not just a matter of eating veggies and fruits, but learning how to eat properly. We need to have a healthy body to enjoy life; but we need a healthy brain to think properly.
We need to create awareness about this and the starting point is simple: Spread it everywhere!
YOGA ASANAS FOR STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY!
If we really want a healthy and good body then we need to practice yoga postures. Thee are many types of asanas. There is not need to torture your body with hard postures. Yoga is so easy that you can even practice yoga in your job, please read my article: Yoga for stressful jobs (Link at the bottom). You will find some asanas on that post.
The matter is to gain and keep strength and flexibility even in our old age. Do not waste your time because it really goes very fast. So, start today and be better tomorrow. We cannot avoid getting older, but we can avoid getting older too fast. Yoga has many benefits. Some of them are:

- BETTER SPINAL DISCS. - BALANCE.
- KEEPS YOU IN SHAPE! - DEVELOPS A POSITIVE SELF-IMAGE.
- HELP TO SLEEP BETTER. - DEVELOP WILL POWER.
- YOGA PROMOTES NON-VIOLENCE. - PROMOTE A BETTER WORLD.
- CHANGE YOUR LEVEL OF VIBRATION. - ETC.
