MODERN SOCIETIES AND ANCIENT PROBLEMS!
TEENS: FEAR AND ANXIETY!
Parents cannot understand modern teens because technology is new! Parents did not have this kind of technology when they were kids. They do not know how stressful modern life is for teens and kids. This is another world, so different from the world of parents where they were teens.
COOPERATION VS COMPETITION.
Anxiety is creating more and more fear and insecurity. Competition comes to show how better you are than others. Do you really need to show that? Not really. You are who you are and it does not matter what people say about you. showing others that you are better is a sing of insecurity and fear. When the time comes you do your best regardless of other people opinion.
The best competition is against yourself. You do not need to prove anything to nobody. you do not need to compete against nobody. THE ONLY PERSON YOU HAVE TO DEFEAT IS YOURSELF! BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE AND DO THE BEST YOU CAN DO!
One way to face anxiety is to accept yourself as you are. You have to recognize your limits and weakness in a natural and positive way. never is a pessimistic way! When you accept yourself as you are with your limits and weakness in a positive way, then you can improve yourself by trying to go beyond your own limits. Then you might defeat those limits, you might defeat yourself!
THE MATTER IS NOT TO GO AS FAR AS OTHERS GO, BUT TO GO FURTHER AND FURTHER THAN YOURSELF CAN GO!
Anxiety is just a negative way to see things, especially your future. Face the fact that you are a human being with limitations and weakness, but face the fact that you can defeat yourself to be better each day!
YOUR CHALLENGE IS YOURSELF.
TAKE THE RISK TO GO BEYOND YOUR LIMITS!
THE NEGATIVE MIND.
We think first then we act. Our actions come from our thoughts. They come from within. Therefore, there is not other way than changing the inner world: Thoughts and feelings.
A mind full of negative ideas, negative data, negative thoughts, etc. will create a negative world within and the actions coming from that world will be also negative.
A negative mind is a huge problem for any type of development. A mind like that makes people to suffer a lot. They carry many complaints and frustrations in they mind. How could they be happy? Never! This negative mind creates anxiety and fear. Negative people are expecting negative outcomes. They have a very fatalistic mind. They live from one worry to another one, from one fear to another one, from one complaint to another one, and so on. They will never be happy, they will never have peace.
A person who understands this situation, a person who knows he/she lives under that negative states, can change. That person will understand the need to change. He/she will fight for something different, for a new way to think. Yes, a more positive way to think.
HOW TO CHANGE THE NEGATIVE MIND.
FIRST STEP: Accepting that we have a negative mind.
SECOND: Understanding the need of a more positive mind.
THIRD: Practice meditation and focus on all the good things you have.
FOURTH: Avoid negative thoughts, focus on good things.
FIFTH: Smile. Watching some funny movie clips help.
Sounds easy, right? No so easy for those who have a negative mind. It is important to create a new habit. Thinking negative things is a bad habit. We had been with this habit for years, so it will take time to create a new habit. No worries, just do it. Keep in your mind that you are learning a new technique and it will take time, but you will succeed!
FIGHTING FEAR AND ANXIETY (TECHNIQUE).
What can we do?
1- Relax your body (10 mins)
Inhale (Slow and long) and exhale through your nose.
2- Now imagine you are absorbing prana (Fire) while inhaling.
Mentally you say to yourself: I am absorbing power.
3- Exhale and imagine you are sending out all negative things.
Mentally say to yourself: Fear and negativity go away.
Repeat the last two steps several times until you feel better. Focus on it. Believe it! Do not repeat the phrase mechanically, do it with conviction. You do not need to live under fear and anxiety. It is a bad habit, but you can overcome it. Practice everyday and you will do it better each time. Finally you will feel better.
Ex3rcising and yoga will help you to get rid off negativity too. A very passive life is not good for your health. Moreover, the mid tends to think more negative things when you are in a passive mode. Go, move and forget about any fear. Smile, life is beautiful and you should enjoy it.
